Who We Are
Delaina Parrish
Co-Founder: CEO
Diversity Influencer/Social Media/Branding
Delaina is a Florida native and a 2020 Business School (Marketing) graduate from the University of Florida, with an emphasis in retailing and entrepreneurship. As a multi-dimensional influencer with Cerebral Palsy, she leverages her voice on statewide, national, and global platforms to break down barriers for the disability community and their allies. Her TEDxUF talk achieved global affirmation by motivating corporations to be “Fearless in Disability Inclusion.” By combining her lived experience with her education, Delaina lives to challenge convention for the betterment of society and business.
Forbes Magazine featured her as a rising entrepreneur representing the essential markets of Disability, Equity and Inclusion. A gubernatorial appointee, Delaina currently serves on the Florida Rehabilitation Council where she plays an active role in offering employment policy recommendations to Vocational Rehabilitation and the Department of Education.
Delaina’s original passion for inclusion arose through fashion – and the freedom to be equally represented through style. An early adopter of adaptive design, she formed relationships with international brands such as Vera Bradley, Zappos Adaptive, Tommy Hilfiger and Runway of Dreams. In the tech industry, Parrish’s message of empowerment reached numerous countries in a global marketing campaign for Tobii Dynavox, a worldwide leader for Assistive and Augmentative Communication.
Beyond business, Delaina mentors young entrepreneurs, and assists her community in planning events for families of PWD. She loves being in nature, traveling, hammocking, pushing her mind and body with yoga, boxing and countless other adaptive adventures!
